Creek and Lake Geology

Lehman Creek and Teresa Lake

Lehman Creek gets its start in Teresa and Stella Lakes which are in turn fed by snow and glacier melt. The lakes are actually basins called tarns that were scooped out by glaciers thousands of years ago. They sit inside the moraines of rock left by the retreating glaciers.
